The San Francisco Giants beat the Sacramento Athletics, 7-4, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Giants got a fine performance from catcher Andrew Knapp, who went 3 for 3 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win elevated the Giants to 7-6.
Knapp contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped San Francisco get the win.
"Solid performance from our side," said Giants manager Noah McKinnon.
